Overview:
Our surgical practice in Rochester is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to support spine and cranial surgery cases and manage post-operative patient care. New grads are welcome to apply for this full-time role with strong compensation and comprehensive benefits.
Position Offers:
Schedule: OR days: Monday and Thursday
Clinic days: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
Competitive salary: $130 000 per year (DOE)

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with spine surgery cases, including some cranial procedures
Support surgical teams on surgery days
Conduct post-operative office visits
Round on hospitalized patients following practice-performed surgeries
Manage post-op patients in both office and hospital settings
Review and interpret relevant imaging studies (MRI, CT, X-ray) in a surgical context
Qualifications:
Active, current Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in New York
Prior experience in spine surgery, neurosurgery, or orthopedic surgery, including post-op patient management
Familiarity with spine imaging studies and cranial/neurosurgical exposure
Current or obtainable DEA registration in New York preferred
