A surgical physician assistant opportunity is available in a hospital setting, focusing on cardiovascular care. This role is vital for holiday coverage, involving both clinic and call responsibilities with a flexible rotating schedule. Candidates will primarily handle inpatient care, surgical assistance, and clinic duties in Torrance, CA.
Key Details - Assignment Type: Locum Tenens- Setting: Inpatient- Start Date: Potentially starting November 25th (exact needs outlined in additional details)- Schedule: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM for day shifts; on-call shifts from 6:00 PM - 7:30 AM the next day- Patient Population: Adult- Location: Torrance, CA- Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates

Working Hours - Floor shifts: 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch- On call: 6:00 PM - 7:30 AM beeper call- Specific holiday and gap coverage required
Skills - Endoscopic and radial artery harvesting- Interpreting EKGs, X-rays, and lab results- Experience with ECMO, IABP, and Impella devices
