Job description
Our client, a fast-growing multi-provider surgical practice, is hiring a Physician Assistant, Plastic Surgery to support high-volume aesthetic and reconstructive patient care at the Westchester office and select additional locations. The Physician Assistant, Plastic Surgery role provides clinical support for plastic surgery services, ensuring safe, efficient, and patient-centered care. This position is critical to maintaining continuity of care as the practice expands and adds or supports providers across locations.
Responsibilities Assist in pre-operative assessment and preparation, including medical history review and documentationPerform patient evaluations and follow-up visits as delegated and within scope of practiceSupport procedures in the operating room and assist with post-operative care protocolsManage routine post-op complications escalation pathways and coordinate appropriate next stepsMaintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with practice standardsParticipate in patient education for surgical plans, recovery expectations, and aftercare instructionsCollaborate with the plastic surgeon(s) and existing PA team to support clinic flow and growthSchedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Requirements Master's degree in Physician Assistant StudiesCurrent Physician Assistant license and ability to practice in New YorkClinical experience in plastic surgery and/or dermatology/aesthetic surgery strongly preferredDemonstrated familiarity with pre-op and post-op workflows, surgical terminology, and documentationStrong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work effectively with a surgeon in a high-paced setting Some of the Benefits Join a practice experiencing rapid expansion with increasing procedural volumeStable, predictable scheduleOpportunities to support experienced surgical leadership and established clinical processesProfessional growth in a specialty focused on aesthetic and plastic surgery Salary: The posted range is not a guarantee.
