Job description
Join Our Team at Avera Brookings We re seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Surgeon to join our growing surgical team and provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative healthcare environment. What You ll Do Provide comprehensive general surgical care for patients
Perform a broad range of general surgery procedures utilizing advanced surgical technology including access to robotics
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and support teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes
Participate in surgical call coverage and emergency surgical care
Contribute to a patient-focused culture that values quality, safety, and innovation
Schedule Five (5) day work week with dedicated OR and clinic time
1:4 shared call rotation
Qualifications MD or DO, licensed (or eligible) in South Dakota
Board-certified or board-eligible in General Surgery
DEA certification (state and federal)
