Job description
Aspirus Health is seeking a General Surgeon to join our team in Laurium, Michigan, in the heart of the Upper Peninsula.
This opportunity offers strong clinical and administrative support, along with a welcoming community that values and supports local healthcare providers.
OPPORTUNITY :
Up to full-time (1.0 FTE); 5-day work week preferred
Approximately 14 days call/month (30-minute onsite response time)
Level III trauma center
General and laparoscopic surgery (hernia repairs, appendectomies, lesion excisions, lumpectomies)
GI endoscopy (EGD, colonoscopy)
Inpatient Rounding
Primary GS clinic located on the hospital campus
Weekly outreach at Aspirus Houghton Clinic (20-minute drive)
Primarily adult population w/limited pediatrics
