Locums General Surgery Call Only Dothan, AL (IMLC accepted) Why This Role Short-term General Surgery call coverage Inpatient consult and emergency department coverage Cerner EMR environment Trauma Level III facility Expedited credentialing available Assignment Details Start Date: June 30, 2026 End Date: July 3, 2026 Coverage Type: Call Only Practice Setting: Inpatient Schedule: 24-hour beeper call Coverage Period: June 30 at 7:00 AM through July 3 at 7:00 AM Patients per Day: Approximately 20 EMR: Cerner Requirements Active AL license or IMLC accepted Board Certified or Board Eligible ACLS BLS Clean history Clinical Details General Surgery call coverage Inpatient consults Emergency department consults Inpatient rounding Adult General Surgery Trauma Surgery Laparoscopic appendectomy Laparoscopic cholecystectomy Hernia repair Chest wall and pleural procedures Chest tube insertion Central line placement Vascular access procedures 30-minute call response time Scheduling Notes No clinic responsibilities Call ratio approximately 1:6 Phone consults expected Callback volume approximately 15%If interested, please reply with your CV, availability, active licenses, and rate expectations.
