Elmhurst/Astoria, Queens, New York, Gynecologic Surgeon Job

Permanent job opening
Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible OB/GYN physician with training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery
Open to new graduates
ASAP start available
Outpatient only
No call or hospital responsibilities
No obstetrical responsibilities
Evaluate and treat a broad range of gynecologic conditions, including endometriosis, leiomyomas, and adnexal masses
Provide preventive care, surgical evaluations, and ongoing management
Perform in-office procedures, which may include:
LEEP
Colposcopy
Hysteroscopy and endometrial biopsy
Vulvar biopsy
Pessary care
Additional surgical scope and procedure locations to be discussed with the client
Team-based environment with RN support, a dedicated MA (1:1), and an APP
APP practices independently
Multispecialty group with multiple specialties onsite
Patient population includes commercially insured, Medicaid, and Medicare patients, as well as underserved communities
EMR: Epic
Completion of accredited obstetrics and gynecology residency training required before starting
Training in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery required
Robotic certification strongly preferred
Active, unrestricted New York State medical license required
Active DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
Medicare/Medicaid enrollment or eligibility to enroll
BLS or ACLS certification required; both strongly preferred
