What You ll DoLead the development and growth of the cardiac surgery program at Henry Ford St. John Hospital
Oversee clinical operations, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives
Lead, mentor, and support cardiothoracic surgery team members
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, innovative cardiovascular care
Participate in academic activities, including resident education and research opportunities
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards
Drive program expansion through strategic planning and stakeholder engagement
What You Need
Required:
Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
Michigan medical license (or eligible for licensure)
Proven excellence in adult cardiac surgery
Leadership experience in a clinical or academic setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred:
Experience in program development and faculty recruitment
Academic involvement or scholarly achievements
Interest in surgical education and mentorship
