Spine Neurosurgery Opening Hartford, CTFull TimePermanent PositionSeeking BC/BE Spine Neurosurgeon to join established neurosurgery program in Hartford, ConnecticutPosition Highlights:Practice at an 867-bed tertiary care academic medical centerImmediate surgical volume with focus on spine and complex spine proceduresEstablished spine program performing approximately 1,200 cases annuallyOpportunity to further develop and grow the spine programCollaborative multidisciplinary neuroscience institute with strong referral networkAcademic and research opportunities through UCONN School of MedicineNeurosurgery residency teaching opportunities availableHospital & Program Highlights:Level I trauma centerJoint Commission Comprehensive Stroke CenterNAEC Level 4 Epilepsy CenterJoint Commission Advanced Spine CenterMore than 2,000 neurosurgical cases annually5 dedicated neurosurgery operating roomsDedicated neuroscience ICU and neuroscience inpatient unitsOver 20 Neurosurgery APPs and 8 NeurointensivistsDedicated nurse navigators supporting patient care pathwaysAdvanced surgical technology including: - Mazor X spine robots - Medtronic O-Arm and Stealth Navigation - Zeiss surgical microscopes - Stereotactic DBS technologyAir ambulance transport system serving New England regionResponsibilities:Perform spine and complex spine neurosurgical proceduresCollaborate with multidisciplinary neuroscience teamsParticipate in program development and quality initiativesParticipate in resident education and teachingEngage in clinical research opportunities if desiredMaintain accurate and timely documentationQualifications:Board Eligible or Board Certified in NeurosurgerySpine fellowship training preferredActive Connecticut license or ability to obtainStrong collaborative and patient-centered approachCompensation & Benefits:Competitive compensation packageMedical, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement plan optionsPaid time offContinuing medical education (CME) supportResearch and academic opportunitiesLeadership and professional development resources
