Job description
SageWest Health Care is seeking an experienced General Surgeon . Combined, our Lander and Riverton facilities offer a total of 133 beds, providing comprehensive medical services to the communities for a population of over 40,000 in Fremont County, Wyoming, including 24/7 Hospitalist and emergency care, surgery, women s health, and advanced diagnostics, committed to quality, safety, and community wellness. About the position:
Surgery takes place at the Lander site
Team: 1 full-time and one contracted surgeon.
Options for hospital employment and/or independent practice.
Qualifications:
BC in General Surgery
Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of WY and DEA with full prescriptive authority
Our Notable Highlights:
Community Trauma Hospital (Lander) with full OB and surgical services
Mammography services have earned a three-year accreditation from the American College of Radiology (ACR)
Advanced diagnostic imaging (CT, MRI, 3D mammography, ultrasound, etc.)
Broad service lines including primary care, general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, women s health
Chest Pain Center accreditation for quality cardiac care
