Facility Support 24/7 CRNA coverage; 24/7 Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging support
Clinical Scope & Shift Structure Facility Type: 18-bed Critical Access Hospital (CAH).
Call Structure: 24-hour continuous emergency call blocks starting at 05:00 AM on the first scheduled date and concluding at 05:00 AM on the morning after the last date (e.g., June coverage runs from June :00 to June :00).
Scope of Practice: Emergent and urgent general surgery consults, emergency department evaluations, surgical admissions, and acute operative interventions typical of a rural critical access setting.
On-Site Support: Dedicated 24-hour CRNA anesthesia coverage alongside around-the-clock laboratory and imaging services.

Candidate Requirements Education & Training: ACGME/AOA-accredited residency in General Surgery.

Availability & Reliability: Ability to maintain a 2-hour response window when called and cover multi-day weekend/holiday call blocks consistently.
