Licensure/Certifications: Active medical license in Kentucky required
Experience: Prior cardiothoracic surgery experience required

What You ll DoPerform adult cardiac surgeries including CABG, heart valve repair/replacement, and re-do cases
Conduct general thoracic surgeries such as tube thoracostomy, tracheostomy, bronchoscopy, VATS decortication, and lung biopsy
Support structural heart procedures in hybrid OR or cath lab settings
Manage high-risk ICU cases, including Impella procedures and critical patient medical management
Collaborate with an experienced anesthesia team and ancillary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Document procedures accurately using EPIC EMR system
What You NeedValid Kentucky medical license and board certification in cardiothoracic surgery
Proven experience in adult cardiac and thoracic surgery, including ICU management
Strong skills in high-risk case management and procedural support
Ability to work independently in a hospital-based setting
