Our client, a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advanced surgical services, is hiring a Breast Surgeon. An innovative and reputable medical institution is seeking a highly skilled Breast Surgeon to join its specialized surgical team. This pivotal role involves delivering top-tier breast surgery services within a dynamic hospital environment. The candidate will play a critical role in patient outcomes, supporting the institution's mission to provide comprehensive and compassionate care.
Responsibilities:
Perform outpatient and inpatient breast surgical procedures with precision and care.Evaluate and diagnose patients with breast-related conditions, developing effective treatment plans.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to billing procedures, including familiarity with relevant billing codes.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of surgical techniques, hospital protocols, and best practices in breast surgery.Participate in on-call responsibilities and contribute to departmental meetings and continuing education. Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of postgraduate surgical experience, with specific expertise in breast surgery.Completion of an accredited surgical residency program.Board certification or eligibility in General Surgery and specialized training in Breast Surgery.Proven experience in hospital settings, with a strong understanding of billing codes and procedures.Ability to work independently, demonstrate superior surgical skills, and communicate effectively with patients and staff.Familiarity with billing processes related to breast surgery is highly preferred.Must not be a recent graduate; extensive practical hospital experience is essential.Candidates with a background in billing and coding related to breast procedures or prior hospital billing experience are preferred.Willingness to work with Catholic Health candidates.
