Job description
Spine-Focused Neurosurgeon Erie, Pennsylvania
A nonprofit regional referral center in Erie, Pennsylvania, is hiring a full-time neurosurgeon to meet growing demand. You'd serve a population of nearly 1 million with high clinical volume and complex spine pathology.
The Role
About 80-90% spine and 10-20% cranial
Broad case mix: neurotrauma, complex spine, brain tumors, cerebrovascular
Dedicated OR block time and a balanced schedule
Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center
The Team
6 neurosurgeons, including a cerebrovascular/endovascular specialist
Neurohospitalists, neurology, neuroradiology and neurointerventional support
Dedicated APPs in the office, OR and hospital
Integrated Epic EMR and a strong primary care referral network
Compensation & Benefits
$100,000 sign-on bonus

Requirements
MD/DO and completion of an accredited neurosurgery residency
BE/BC by the ABNS (spine fellowship is a plus, not required)
Eligible for an unrestricted PA license and DEA
J-1 Waiver and H-1B candidates considered for 2028 and beyond
