Locum Neurosurgery Physician Central Illinois
Start: Summer 2026 Ongoing Long-Term Coverage
A healthcare facility in central Illinois is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurosurgery Physician for a long-term locum tenens assignment beginning summer 2026 . This opportunity offers a predictable one week per month schedule with a mix of daytime coverage and call responsibilities.
Assignment Details Start: Summer 2026
Schedule: One full week per month (Monday 7:00 AM Monday 7:00 AM)
Day Schedule: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
Weeknight Call: 5:00 PM 7:00 AM
Weekend Call: Friday 5:00 PM Monday 7:00 AM (24-hour call coverage)
Coverage Type: Clinic, inpatient consults, and call coverage
Assignment Length: Ongoing long-term
Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
Active Illinois medical license required
6 hours of stroke-specific CME within a rolling 2-year period
Ability to meet credentialing requirements including health attestation, vaccination records, drug screening, and physical within 90 days of start
Ideal Candidates Clean credentialing history
Availability for consistent one-week-per-month coverage
Responsive with credentialing documentation
