Job description

Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center is seeking a fellowship-trained BC/BE Surgical Oncologist to join our growing multidisciplinary surgical practice in Bangor, Maine. Our team includes specialists in surgical oncology, colorectal surgery, and bariatric surgery , supported by experienced physician associates, medical assistants, and administrative staff dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

Position Highlights:

Access to four Da Vinci Xi robotic surgical systems

No emergency general surgery or trauma call requirements

Strong multidisciplinary support, including hematology/oncology and a wide range of surgical subspecialties

Opportunities for leadership, mentorship, and teaching

Established and growing referral network

Broad oncology practice encompassing HPB, gastrointestinal, endocrine, breast, and soft tissue malignancies

Compensation Information:

$445,000 annual base salary with the ability to earn additional compensation based on productivity.

The compensation range listed reflects the range Northern Light Health anticipates relying on in setting the wages for the position. The range may not necessarily include all additional compensation elements available, including but not limited to call pay, leadership stipends, etc.
