Job Details:
Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule with no call or weekends required
Partner closely with a reputable plastic surgeon to practice within both ambulatory and OR intraoperative settings
Ambulatory and outpatient responsibilities include postoperative follow-up appointments and office-based procedures
Intraoperative first assist responsibilities encompass both reconstructive and cosmetic procedures, with a primary focus on oncology breast reconstruction
Inpatient rounding may be included on a limited basis
Must be certified for first assisting in the operating room
Specialize in adult and pediatric facial cosmetic surgery, craniofacial surgery, and cleft lip and palate surgery
Perform adult body contour surgery including liposuction and breast and abdomen modification
Provide immediate breast reconstruction following mastectomy
Conduct facial trauma reconstruction, hand surgery, surgery for prominent ears, facial wrinkle treatments, and advanced laser technology procedures
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Master's program required
Must be licensed as a Physician Assistant in the state of Connecticut
Plastic surgery and surgical experience highly preferred
Prior experience as a Physician Assistant highly preferred
