Job description
Overview AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is looking for a dynamic and energetic Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon to help serve the Central Florida Division.
The surgeon will join a group of six plastic surgeons well established at AdventHealth and in the greater Orlando community. A strategy for the new hire has been created around current growth ensuring the candidate will hit the ground running on day one.
The position is heavily focused on non-microsurgical breast reconstruction and supporting breast surgery at both AdventHealth Apopka and AdventHealth Winter Garden. The remaining clinical scope includes general plastic surgery, with opportunities to grow multidisciplinary care with other surgical specialties, and to include cosmetic surgery as part of that surgeon s practice if desired.
An emphasis is placed on evidence-based medicine with a concentration on patient centered care. The new physician should have the desire to join a busy practice with a group of physicians stressing quality, communication, and a progressive approach to the field of Plastic Surgery.
AdventHealth has a vision for a physician-led Plastic Surgery program spanning various regions. The incoming surgeon will find numerous opportunities to grow and develop his/her own expertise while further developing a cohesive group with a mission to provide the best care to Florida and beyond.
Candidates must be board certified or board eligible by the ABPS.

This is an employment opportunity through AdventHealth Medical Group, a 900+ physician, multi-specialty organization. Hospital Description AdventHealth Winter Garden, a part of AdventHealth Orlando, opened in 2016 as a state-of-the-art emergency facility featuring board-certified physicians trained in the care of both adults and children. AdventHealth Winter Garden opened its new inpatient tower in May 2022, a $229.5 million expansion which brings critical services to the fast-growing West Orange community. The new tower provides 80 private rooms and space for new services, including orthopedics, advanced gynecology, cardiology, gastroenterology, general and robotic surgery, neurology, spine health, colorectal and urology.
