We are currently seeking candidates with exceptional customer service skills to join our team as a Surgery Scheduling Coordinator. You will be working with a team of professionals for a well-known, highly regarded dermatology practice who puts our patients above all else.We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:Career advancement opportunitiesPaid holidays, vacation, floating holiday, AND personal time offBenefits packages, including medical, dental, STD, LTD, Life, and other voluntary benefit offerings (for employees working 30+ hours per week)Up to 40% off products and cosmetic procedures401(k) matchingDuties to include:Review weekly provider schedules to maximize utilization of provider availabilityMonitor biopsy log for accuracy, timely receipt of results, treatment of positive lesions within 4-6 weeks of confirmed diagnosisInitiate skin cancer tracking tool; phone contact with patient; letters in a timely mannerObtain precertification and prior authorizations in a timely mannerScheduling all MOHS, cancer treatment surgeriesMaintain OSHA compliancePerform patient call backs on same day of callAssist physician/mid-level providers with patient careDocument in medical record as appropriateContact patients via phone/mail to confirm upcoming surgeries. ALL patient paperwork MUST be filled out PRIOR to the patient's surgeryDevelop good working relationships with Location Manager and Regional SupervisorRequirements include:At least one year of Dermatology experience requiredMA certificate of completion/diploma from medical vocational programRN, LPN degree or diploma current active license or certificationCurrent CPR certificationKnowledge of vital signs is requiredWorking knowledge of dermatologic surgery and sterile techniqueKnowledge of medical terminologyMust be computer literateCompensation/ Benefits (*Eligible for Full Time Positions Only):Referral ProgramBenefits packagesPTO/6 Paid Holidays/Floating Holiday/Vacation Time401KADCS Clinics LLC participates in equal employment opportunities for all individuals and abides by EEOC and nondiscrimination provisions of all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
