Locums Thoracic Surgery Physician in Atlanta, Georgia - Broad Procedures, Low Daily Volume
Cover a comprehensive general thoracic service with approximately 5 to 7 patients daily, 24 hour call, and opportunities for additional PRN blocks.

Adult-only patient population
Practice & Cases
Inpatient and outpatient general thoracic surgery
Lobectomy, wedge resection, VATS, and decortication
Esophagectomy, mediastinoscopy, and thymectomy
Bronchoscopy, hiatal hernia repair, and Nissen fundoplication
Schedule
Multi-day coverage blocks
24 hour call with daytime rounding
Calls may originate from multiple locations
Onsite rounding and callbacks limited to two locations
Requirements
Must be an MD or DO
Must be Board Certified in Thoracic Surgery
Active Georgia medical license required
DEA required
Logistics
