Job description
Specialty: Cardiothoracic Surgery
Coverage Needs : 9/25-10/2
Orientation on 9/24
Shifts: 7am - 7am
Covering call the entirety of the coverage dates
Call: 24 hour blocks
Setting: Needing inpatient coverage primarily but would prefer both
Inpatient call/rounding along with outpatient consults in the afternoons after surgery
Census: 1-2 surgeries M-F depending on need, inpatient call/rounding along with outpatient consults in the afternoons after surgery
Support Staff: CT surgery APP, clinic LPN and RN. Full OR staff
Procedures: CABG
Valve repair/replacement
Pericardial window
Lung resection
Vascular surgeries including endarterectomies
EMR: EPIC
Board Certification: BC required
Travel: Hospital will cover
Credentialing timeline: Temps available
Requirements: Active ND license or IMLC
ACLS/BLS/PALS
