This well-established hospital provides comprehensive cardiovascular and thoracic surgical services to the Memphis community and surrounding region. The facility supports locum tenens physicians with lodging recommendations nearby and offers a dynamic clinical environment spanning the CVICU, ICU, Cardiac Step Down, and other hospital units as needed.
Opportunity:
Physician - Thoracic Surgery - Cardio Thoracic Surgery
Job Details:
Provide thoracic and cardiovascular surgical services across CVICU, ICU, Cardiac Step Down, and other hospital units as needed
Perform complex procedures including CABG, AVR/MVR, TEVSG/EVSG, Carotid endarterectomy, PVD, Pericardial window, and more
Thoracic and Cardiovascular trained MD required
10 patient encounters per shift
Board certification required (Certified level minimum)
Active Tennessee license or IMLC eligibility required
ACLS certification required
Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days
Locum Tenens engagement with lodging recommendations available nearby
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
