Job description
Position: Locums - CVT SurgeonMust have UTAH license and UTAH DEADates: September 18-25, December 28-Jan 3This would be call coverage only during this time and no clinic coverageThis is a level II trauma center and we need someone that can also do thoracic surgery and well as cardiovascular component24 hour call coveragePhysician Must be Board Certified and Board EligiblePatient load is approximately 10-12 patients per week. Approx 3-5 consults for 7 days and 1-3 surgeries per week, usually 1 cardiac and 2-3 thoracic casesPractice does about 80 hearts per yearSupport Staff: Practice has 1 APP, 1 MA, 1 MOS, 1 RNProvider will need to do cases alone and has no NP assistThe facility has a vein harvest team that is provided by the hospitalHas an NP that can assist Monday-Thursday from 8-5Become an ICON: Never worry about your travel accommodations again!
