Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery Opportunity in Springfield, MO Practice Details: - Full-time - Seeking a BC/BE Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join an established practice in Springfield, Missouri. - This practice is powered by a team of two Cardiothoracic surgeons. - 880 acute bed hospital with a 700+ physicians with a catchment area of 2M+ lives- 90,000+ emergency visits annually- Annual cardiac surgery volume of 500+- Three newly constructed state-of-the-art dedicated CV operating rooms that support traditional and robotic procedural platforms.- Robust structural heart program performing over 100 structural (TAVR, MitraClip) procedures annually. - New clinic space within a dedicated Heart hospital that is centrally located- Group of 16 cardiologists - Rated in the top 5% nationally for overall clinic excellence by Healthgrades- A large, established multi-specialty, dedicated referral network including Cardiology, Pulmonary, and Oncology. - System-wide Epic EMR Support & Resources: - State-of-the-art rehabilitation hospital and equipment - Level I Trauma Center and Stroke Center of Excellence - Access to 600+ employed physicians across multiple specialties - Dedicated hospitalist support at the rehab facility - Established referral network with high patient volumes Compensation & Benefits: - Integrated health system with a competitive income guarantee- Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, and CME- Relocation assistance and professional liability coverage- H-1B Visas accepted Requirements: - MD or DO degree - Board Certified or Board Eligible - Eligible for Missouri medical licensure - Strong clinical and collaborative skills Community Highlights - Springfield, Missouri: - Located in the scenic Ozark Mountains with abundant outdoor recreation - Low cost of living ranked among the best in the U.S. - Access to lakes, hiking, biking, and fishing - Strong job market with growing economy - Excellent schools and universities - Regional airport with convenient nationwide travel options - Metro amenities with minimal traffic and a strong sense of community
