Job description
A physician-led academic health system in the Phoenix metro area is seeking an experienced BC/BE Trauma Surgeon to serve as Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Program Director and Surgical ICU Medical Director .
Position Highlights:
Leadership role as Surgical Critical Care Fellowship Program Director
Serve as Surgical ICU Medical Director
Practice trauma, emergency surgery, and surgical critical care
Faculty appointment with resident and fellow teaching
Opportunity to lead research in health services, translational science, or basic science
Work within a collaborative, physician-led academic environment
Practice at a nationally recognized Level I Adult & Pediatric Trauma and Burn Center
Home to Phoenix's only ACGME-accredited Surgical Critical Care residency

Qualifications:
MD or DO
BC/BE in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care
Completion of an accredited General Surgery residency and Surgical Critical Care fellowship
Strong experience in trauma, emergency surgery, and surgical critical care
Demonstrated record of teaching and scholarly activity
Commitment to academic medicine, leadership, and multidisciplinary collaboration
