Job description
Locums Cardiothoracic Surgery NP coverage in Tennessee, call only with a 30 to 45 minute response time. You will assist the CV surgeon on bypass cases, vein harvesting experience is required.

Emergent privileges available when needed
Dedicated inpatient CV service with a 20 bed department and full support staff
Practice Setting
Inpatient cardiothoracic surgery service
Call is for assigned patients
Work directly assisting the CV surgeon during bypass surgery
Reported volume, 10 to 15 per shift
Schedule
Call only coverage
30 to 45 minute response time required
Shift times are TBD
Coverage needed ASAP through Jan 4, 2027
Cases and Procedures
Assist the CV surgeon during bypass surgery
Vein harvesting is required, providers without this experience will not be considered
Requirements
Must be a Nurse Practitioner
Tennessee license required, will not wait for license
ACLS and BLS
Board certified or board eligible within 5 years in thoracic and cardiac surgery
