Job description
General Summary Provides diagnosis and treatment of patients within the scope of practice as defined by all applicable Federal, State and local laws, regulations, protocols, etc. and within the individual Advanced Practice Provider's (APP) particular clinical specialty area, licensure and competency level. Performs acts of medical diagnosis or prescription of medical therapeutic or corrective measures as appropriate.

What you can expect at your practice:
Provide comprehensive preoperative and postoperative care, including history taking, physical examinations, and patient education
Potential opportunity to assist in OR setting
Collaborate with vascular surgeon and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Manage patient care in the clinic setting, evaluating and treating both acute and chronic vascular conditions
Work in a blended role that includes both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities.

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
Masters Degree Nurse Practitioner Required or
Bachelors Degree Physician Assistant Required
Masters Degree Physician Assistant Preferred
Work Experience:
1 year Required
Licenses:
Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner Upon Hire Required or
Licensed Physician Assistant Upon Hire Required and
Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required or
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
BLS and/or ACLS as appropriate for the clinical role. Upon Hire Required and
Nurse Practitioner - board certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center Commission on Certification Upon Hire Required and
Nurse Practitioner - Completion of an accredited program for nurse practitioners Upon Hire Required or
Physician Assistant - Graduate of accredited physician assistant program Upon Hire Required
