Practice Vascular Surgery in South Texas with Semi-Tropical Weather
A leading healthcare system in South Texas is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Vascular Surgeon to join a growing, academically affiliated surgical practice. This is an excellent opportunity to combine clinical excellence with teaching and academic engagement in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Position Highlights:

Clinic schedule: Monday Friday with routine hours
Call schedule coordinated by the group and hospital
Mix of inpatient and outpatient work, flexible based on physician preference

About the Facility:
The hospital is a full-service acute care center with advanced resources and technology, including:
586 licensed beds (380 operational)
19 operating rooms
Integrated Cerner EMR system
Comprehensive cardiovascular and endovascular services
4 Cath Lab suites with Cardiac, EP, and Neuro capabilities
Da Vinci XI robotic surgical system
Scope of Practice:
The Vascular Surgeon will provide comprehensive care for patients with arterial, venous, and lymphatic disorders, including:
Full spectrum of open and endovascular procedures (carotid endarterectomy, aneurysm repair, lower extremity revascularization, dialysis access, venous interventions)
Collaboration with Cardiology, Interventional Radiology, and General Surgery teams for multidisciplinary care
Participation in shared call coverage coordinated with the hospital
Opportunities for academic engagement through the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine
