Credentialing timeframe: 3-6 months
Shift Details
Monday-Sunday 24 Hour Call
Monday-Friday 8:30 AM-4:30 PM daily coverage
Monday-Friday 4:30 PM-8:30 AM night call
Weekend call: Friday-Monday 4:30 PM-8:30 AM
Weekend coverage required
Requirements
Board Certified in Vascular Surgery
Active Virginia license
Fellowship required
Active DEA
Local provider preferred
Required Procedures / Skills
Standard bread and butter vascular procedures
Dialysis access
Local vascular procedures
Assignment Details
Practice setting: Inpatient/Hospital-Based
Patient population: Adult 20%, Geriatric 80%
100% inpatient
Average patient volume: 5-10 patients per day
Trauma level: No trauma center
Call coverage required
Call type: Beeper/Phone Call
Average call back hours: 3
EMR: Epic
Coverage at medical centers in Portsmouth, VA and Suffolk, VA
One provider needed
Providers will credential at both facilities
