Job description
Duke Health’s Patient Revenue Management Organization seeks a Medical Coder Specialist to code surgical procedures from final operative reports and to liaison with providers on documentation improvement and coding accuracy.
The role requires four years of coding experience with at least two years in surgical abstraction; RHIA/RHIT/CCS/CPC credentials are preferred. You will work to ensure compliant coding and optimize revenue for the health system.
