Surgical Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner
A well-established healthcare system in the Upper Hudson Valley region of Upstate New York is seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join its growing surgical team. This full-time role primarily involves first surgical assist in gynecologic and general surgery cases, with opportunities to assist in other surgical subspecialties. Additional responsibilities include preoperative and postoperative care, rounding on inpatients, and performing surgical consults in the Emergency Department and hospital floors.
Located just two hours north of NYC and 45 minutes south of Albany, this position offers the chance to work in a high-quality healthcare system that prioritizes patient safety, excellence, and collaboration. Position Highlights:
Collaborate with an experienced team of surgeons, advanced practice providers, and support staff
40-hour workweek with rotating call for emergent or cases only
