Job description
Role: Surgical MS/PCU RN
Responsibilities:
Provide evidence-based, patient-centered care in a fast-paced surgical and progressive care unit.
Manage post-operative and high-acuity med-surg patients.
Perform comprehensive assessments and interpret telemetry data.
Administer IV medications and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
Collaborate with surgeons, hospitalists, and interdisciplinary teams.
Educate patients and families about care plans.
Accurately document patient information in the EHR.
Qualifications & Skills:
Current RN license with relevant experience in surgical or progressive care settings.
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical skills.
Ability to interpret telemetry and administer IV medications proficiently.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Detail-oriented with accurate documentation skills.
