Surgical Physician Assistant - PA-C

Job Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including comprehensive physical evaluations and meticulous reviews of medical histories
Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions by skillfully interpreting imaging studies and lab results
Collaborate intimately with surgeons to formulate and implement tailored surgical treatment plans
Provide in-depth intraoperative support, ensuring the efficient preparation of operating rooms, proper patient positioning, and skillful handoff of surgical instruments during procedures
Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care that encompasses medication administration, diligent wound management, thorough discharge planning, and meaningful patient education
Qualifications
Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
Completion of clinical rotations with a strong surgical emphasis is highly preferred
Certifications
Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
Required certifications in BLS and ACLS
State licensure as a Physician Assistant or eligibility for licensure
