Elevate Your Career: Become a Surgical Physician Assistant in Frisco, Texas

Every surgical suite emanates its own unique rhythm — a harmony of precision, trust, and clear communication. As a Physician Assistant specializing in surgery, you understand the profound significance of your role — not only in the operating room but also in pre-operative consultations, patient follow-ups, and the essential, yet often unseen, processes driving real healing.

We invite you to join us in a full-time capacity as a dedicated PA, ready to support our dynamic surgical services. Here, you'll collaborate closely with experienced surgeons and compassionate nursing staff, ensuring a seamless, patient-centered journey through surgical procedures. Whether you're educating a patient about what to expect before surgery or providing skilled support during operations, you'll make a significant impact daily, in an environment that truly values your expertise and commitment.

Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging studies and lab results

Work in close partnership with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment plans

Provide intraoperative support by preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and managing surgical instruments

Offer outstanding pre-and post-operative care, including medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

Master's degree from an accredited PA program

Clinical rotations focused on surgical practices strongly preferred

Certifications Needed

Current and unrestricted PA-C certification

Required certifications in BLS and ACLS

State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant

Skills and Qualities

Strong understanding of surgical principles and sterile protocols

Proven ability to interpret diagnostic tests and play a role in sophisticated clinical decisions

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations

Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments, especially during surgical emergencies

Empathetic bedside manner, respecting patients' dignity and autonomy

Benefits We Offer

Highly competitive salary plus performance-based incentives

Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage

Generous paid time off alongside reimbursement for continuing medical education

A supportive team culture with access to advanced equipment and resources

Career growth opportunities in a progressive healthcare environment

As a Surgical Physician Assistant, your responsibilities extend beyond technical proficiency. You are a calming presence when unexpected situations arise, providing reassurance to patients when their anxiety overtakes their hope. In the OR, you'll be actively involved, but your influence will resonate through the hospital corridors — explaining diagnoses, guiding families, and empowering patients as they take their next steps toward recovery.

Your collaboration will span a range of procedures, from minimally invasive laparoscopic surgeries to complex inpatient operations. Post-operatively, your role will include sensitive follow-ups, wound assessments, and ongoing care discussions. Your contributions are integral — your clinical insights are treasured, and your input carries weight in both routine and high-stakes decisions.

We are a team that recognizes the importance of your perspective, appreciating that successful surgeries demand collective effort and a foundation built on trust, humility, and unwavering compassion.

Rooted in Community: Discover Frisco and Its Vibrant Lifestyle

Upon stepping outside the hospital, prepare to immerse yourself in a community that doesn't just accept life — it wholeheartedly embraces it. Frisco, Texas, is where innovative living is woven with rich cultural experiences, warm neighborhoods, and ample recreational opportunities.

Consider taking an afternoon to explore the scenic trails in the area's local parks or venturing to nearby sports arenas to catch the excitement of a live game. There are shopping outlets where fashion meets flair and artisanal eateries that serve culinary delights crafted with care and creativity. In Frisco, the residents embody that famous Southern hospitality — always ready with a smile and genuine interest in your well-being.

With no state income tax and a booming economy, your financial resources are set to thrive, affording you the luxury of truly enjoying your time off. Beyond being a healthy work environment, this city invites you to design a fulfilling lifestyle that resonates with who you are.

From modern apartments with skyline vistas to cozy homes adorned with lush outdoor spaces, Frisco caters to varied lifestyle preferences. The arts scene is thriving, and the local gastronomy is a blend of traditional cuisines and modern culinary twists. The social fabric is vibrant, filled with diverse individuals, each pursuing dreams while contributing to a collaborative community spirit.

Who We Are Looking For

We seek a Surgical Physician Assistant who isn't daunted by challenges — someone who flourishes in high-acuity situations and finds fulfillment in meticulous preparation. Your approach is thoughtful; you listen first to understand, support others before taking the lead, and value continual learning as much as teaching.

You might be at the beginning of your surgical journey or have extensive experience under your belt — regardless, we prioritize your character above all. If you possess a sharp mind, steady hands, and a heartfelt passion for healing, your new home could be right here with us.

Align with Like-Minded Colleagues Where Precision Meets Purpose

This role transcends mere employment — it embodies a mission to aid individuals in reclaiming their strength, enhancing their mobility, and returning to life in a better state than before.

Join a team where mutual respect is core, every achievement is acknowledged, and every patient is viewed as more than just a chart. If you're ready to channel your surgical expertise into a region that values both clinical excellence and meaningful relationships, we're excited to connect with you soon.
