Job Responsibilities

Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive medical history reviews

Assist in diagnosing surgical issues through the interpretation of imaging and laboratory results

Work alongside surgeons to develop and implement personalized surgical plans

Provide support during operations, ensuring the smooth flow of procedures, including preparing the operating room and handling surgical instruments

Deliver outstanding care both before and after surgeries, covering medication management, wound care, discharge preparations, and patient education

Required Education

Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program

Completion of clinical rotations with surgical emphasis is highly preferred

Certifications Needed

Active and unrestricted PA-C certification

BLS and ACLS certifications required

Licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant in the state

Skills Required

Robust understanding of surgical principles and sterility practices

Demonstrated ability to analyze diagnostic tests and contribute meaningfully to clinical decisions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
