Job Details
Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and comprehensive reviews of medical backgrounds
Participate in assessing and diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and laboratory tests
Work hand-in-hand with surgeons to create tailored surgical treatment plans for patients
Provide essential intraoperative support, preparing operating rooms, correctly positioning patients, and efficiently passing surgical instruments during operations
Offer exemplary pre- and post-operative care encompassing medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and educating patients
Required Qualifications
Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
Completion of clinical rotations with a preference for surgical emphasis
Mandatory Certifications
Unrestricted PA-C certification is required
BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory
State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
Essential Skills
