Your Responsibilities
Perform thorough patient evaluations, including comprehensive medical history reviews and physical exams
Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab results
Work in tandem with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment protocols
Provide vital intraoperative assistance, such as preparing surgery rooms, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and passing surgical instruments efficiently
Administer exemplary pre- and post-operative care, which includes dosing medications, managing wounds, coordinating discharge planning, and educating patients
Qualifications
Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
Clinical rotations focused on surgical practices highly preferred
Necessary Certifications
Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
BLS and ACLS certifications required
State licensure (or qualification) as a Physician Assistant
