Your Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient evaluations, performing detailed physical examinations and reviewing medical histories comprehensively.
Enhance diagnostic accuracy through the interpretation of imaging studies and lab results, assisting in evaluating surgical conditions.
Work closely with surgeons to devise and implement tailored surgical care plans for each patient.
Offer intraoperative assistance, preparing operating rooms, ensuring patient safety, and passing instruments with precision.
Facilitate outstanding post-operative care which includes medication management, wound treatments, discharge strategies, and patient education.
Required Qualifications
Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Strong preference for candidates who have completed clinical rotations focused on surgical practice.
Certifications
Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification.
Current certifications in BLS and ACLS are mandatory.
State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant.
