Responsibilities
Perform thorough patient assessments, including detailed medical history analysis and physical examinations
Assist in the diagnosis and evaluation of surgical conditions through the interpretation of imaging and laboratory results
Work in conjunction with surgeons to design and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
Provide critical intraoperative assistance, including preparing the surgical environment, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and instrument transfer during operations
Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education
Qualifications
Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
Clinical rotations with a focus on surgery are highly preferred
Certifications
Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Authorized state licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant
