Job description

Tampa General Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse for Surgical Preparation. Under general supervision, the nurse delivers nursing care to surgical patients, plans and implements care, documents assessments, and communicates a goal-directed care plan that respects patient rights.

Unit-specific certifications may be required, including ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, STABLE, and BLS. An Associate's Degree in Nursing is required to practice in this role at Tampa General Hospital.
