Job description
The Surgical Retina Specialist will be responsible for providing surgical and medical care to patients with retinal diseases and disorders. The specialist will work closely with other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat patients, and will be responsible for performing surgical procedures as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and treat patients with retinal diseases and disorders
Perform surgical procedures as needed
Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of retinal surgery and medicine
Participate in continuing education and professional development activities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Communicate effectively with patients and their families
Qualifications
Medical degree from an accredited institution
Completion of a residency in ophthalmology
Fellowship training in Surgical Retina
Board certification in ophthalmology
Eligible for or holding a California medical license
Excellent surgical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
