Job description
Carle Health in Peoria, IL seeks a Student Surgical Technologist Extern to support operating room teams under supervision. You will assist surgeons and scrub on procedures, prepare sterile fields, and help ensure instruments meet department needs while maintaining patient safety.
The role requires enrollment in a Surgical Technology program, completion of MedCerts coursework within 18 weeks, and successful practicum. BLS certification within 30 days is required.
