Education
Required
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program
Experience:
Preferred
One year of experience as a Surgical Technician
Certification/Licensure:
Required
Surgical Technician Certification by The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting*
Surgical Technician Certification by the National Center for Competency Testing*
United States Military or United States Public Health Service Surgical Technology xhmxlyz Program*
*Only one of these certifications must be obtained
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Must obtain within ninety (90) days of start date
