Opportunity:
Surgical/Operating Room Tech
Job Details:
Work day and evening shifts in Adult and Pediatric Operating Room
Shifts will be a mix of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts totaling 80 hours per two-week pay period
Minimum of 3 years of recent experience (within the last 4 years) in an operating room at an acute care facility of similar level (Level 1 trauma center or teaching hospital) required
Experience in general surgery and specialty areas including orthopedics, neurosurgery, trauma, vascular, ENT, bariatric, GU, and GYN required
Scrub experience required
Certification required
Must be able to perform general skills in an acute care setting with minimal orientation and supervision
No First Assist permitted in New York State
First-time travelers will only be considered if experienced in hospitals of equal size
Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Must not have had professional license or certification suspended or investigated
