Short Description
The trained technologist, under the direct supervision of the Registered Professional Nurse and/or physician, is assigned as an assistant to specific service areas in the Surgical Suite.
Experience Required
1 year of Surgical Technologist experience preferred
Education Requirements
Graduate of a nationally or regionally accredited educational program for Surgical Technologists
License/Certification Requirements
American Heart Association BLS
Certified Surgical Technologist Credential administered by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or its successor, or other nationally recognized credentialing organization (e.g. NCCT – National Center for Competency Testing, etc.).
Special Requirements
Mon-Fri with on-call requirement for nights/weekends
Must annually complete 15 hours of continuing education to remain qualified to practice as a Surgical Technologist in NJ

$4,000 for Full Time
