The surgical technician implements and plans equipment/instruments for patient care procedures.**Position Qualifications:**Provides direct care to surgical patients by a thorough knowledge of medical - surgical asepsis. The surgical technician implements and plans equipment/instruments for patient care procedures.A. Education/Training: High School graduate or equivalent Ability to read, write and communicate in English Successful completion of an accredited surgical technician program.B. Experience: One year prior operating room experience preferred.C. Licensure, Registration or Certification: BLS certification required.
