Inova Loudoun Hospital is looking for a dedicated Surgical Technologist 2 to join the OR team. This role will be full-time day/evening Shift: Days will vary, 11:00am-11:00pm, on-call requirement for nights, weekends, and holidays We offer great pay based on experience, sign‑on bonus and relocation assistance, if eligible! Surgical Technologist 2 Job Responsibilities
Demonstrates advanced knowledge of aseptic and surgical technique.
Demonstrates responsible behavior as a healthcare professional. Identifies variances from expected outcomes and responds to changes in patient needs.
The Surgical Technologist 2 demonstrates knowledge and practice of basic patient care concepts.
Anticipates the needs of the surgeon, which includes passing instruments, sutures, and other items appropriate to the procedure.
Serves as a resource in at least 2 specialty areas/procedures.
May perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education : High School diploma, GED or equivalent
Experience : 1 years of Surgical Technologist experience or equivalent
Certification : Basic Life Support from American Heart Association required upon start.
License : Registered Surgical Technologist in the Commonwealth of Virginia required upon start
