Baptist Health is looking for a Surgical Technologist with at least 2 years of experience to join our Float Team.
As a member of the Float Team, you will have the opportunity to work PRN, offering a flexible schedule to accommodate your lifestyle. A full-time candidate is required to work three shifts per week, weekends included for both. All shifts are 10-hour shifts and there is no on-call required.
A Surgical Technologist in this position will float between campuses including the Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville campus operating room. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a collaborative and patient-focused environment while enjoying the benefits of a flexible work schedule.
As a Surgical Technologist, Your Responsibilities Will Include
Assembling, organizing, and maintaining a sterile field for operative procedures.
Anticipating the needs of the surgeon and the progression of the case and preparing accordingly.
Proper disposition of specimens and instruments.
Working with the entire surgical team to minimize anesthesia time and to promote patient safety.
Education & Credential Requirements
High School Diploma
Positions designated as requiring a level II Background ( A detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that check state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
