Job description
Highlands-Cashiers Hospital seeks a PRN Surgical Technologist to support safe, efficient surgical care in our rural mountain hospital. You will prepare ORs, select and arrange instruments, maintain sterile fields, and assist surgeons during procedures. Responsibilities include patient positioning, counting instruments and sponges, handling specimens, and ensuring proper equipment function. You’ll collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and nursing staff, following strict infection control and safety protocols while supporting our patient-centered, community-focused mission.
