Job description
UF Health in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Surgical Technologist II to support complex surgical procedures in our advanced operating rooms. The Surg Tech II will prepare and maintain sterile fields, select and pass instruments, manage surgical supplies, and assist the surgical team before, during, and after procedures. This role includes preoperative setup, intraoperative support, specimen handling, and equipment troubleshooting. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiology to ensure safe, efficient, patient‑centered care while mentoring junior staff and supporting quality, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
